This place has grow since I used to go here. They've expanded the dining area and it is nice The lady who took care of me was a delight and helpful navigating the menu with a friendly smile. The bowl of fruit came out fresh, no old brown bananas like some other places.

It's worth the wait. A little gem in Chula Vista. A local favorite. Usually, it gets busy. Parking can be a problem so they have parking right in front of them and on the empty shops next to them. It took a little over 20 minutes to get our food, so don't expect quick service. They are friendly and approachable, but their items are prepared with care. The food is delicious. The torta bread is the perfect amount of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Frutas has several location in San Diego but this one, located on Broadway is the best one of all!!. My absolute favorite Healthy Mexican Cafe!. I love that this place has been here for years and the flavors only keep getting better and better!. The portions are huge! The food is super fresh and every single item on their menu is a 10/10!. I 100% recommend this place to everyone!.

Authentic, fresh and so good we returned the next day! Everything was made to order, fresh cut fruit, amazing tortas and açaí bowls. I tried the BEST lentil soup (had twice!)

10/10 EVERYTIME!!! The staff here are absolutely incredible. When I say every staff here looks like they love their work, I mean every staff member makes you feel welcome. Management did a phenomenal job creating this welcoming environment. The smoothie & sandwiches are out of this WORLD I don’t know how they make smoothies taste so incredible. Wait… There’s more! I’m literally crying tears of joy over this food. These sandwiches OMG OMG OMG a burst of flavor and spice from the jalapeños are so incredible. I love coming to this place when I’m in town. Only 1 bad thing… I wish you were in Temecula driving an hour for this incredible place is worth it EVERYTIME. Great job Frutas!

I always get a custom smoothie. Strawberry and banana with yogurt instead of milk and no sugar. I add honey to it and it’s amazing! I highly recommend a smoothie although everyone else seems to be getting a fruit salad which also looks amazing. I had the special torta, ham and lomo with everything. It was different than the TJ styles one I’ve had which I was hoping to find a closer variation this side of the border. However, their special torta is a lot better than others I’ve had in the area. Their smoothies, I highly recommend. Staff is very friendly, it’s very clean. Orders take them a while but it’s worth the wait. I usually go at night to avoid longer lines and wait times during the day.

If you are looking for healthy option look no further. This place is the one to go. 100% Fresh ingredients and multiple choices to stay fit and not get bored. The food portions are magnificent, you definitely get your money's worth. The hygiene and attention to detail in the cleanliness of the dine-in and prep table are unmatched. Remember! Everything is made from scratch and by the order: this means, your food will take time to prep, so make sure to plan ahead, order online or by the phone. Every item is prep with care so proper timing is required, if you are visiting during the lunch rush you will have to wait. But the wait is always worth. 10/10 in service. Great food but takes time.
